Cool timing problems on 94 3.8

Ok just bought this car for my daughter it matches my 95 gt under the carport. its a good looking car. problem is the timing is off and it don't make sense it doesn't matter if i pull the spout or not its at about 30deg BTDC "makes it a bit hard on the starter to crank too" from what i have read it gets it signal from the crank shaft sensor on the front of the motor "right behind the 10 degree mark that it suppose to line up with" and it senses the teeth on the gear bolted to the balancer or is it part of the balancer I haven't had time to really check yet. anyway i may have a couple of problems " because the timing mark didn't change when I unplugged the spout connector" but i feel like something "like this gear" isn't lined up right any Ideas any help i would be thankful for. thanks in advance. Make sure the motor is a top dead center on the compression stroke and line it up with the cam. The notch on the cam should be pointed straight down at the notch in the gear on the crank. timing is supposed to be set at 10* advanced with the spout out.
This may help Ignition Timing

Ok I found the Spout connector its by the MAF and hidden under the MAF wire. The timing was correct after all. The battery was week even though it showed 12.45 volts it only had 160 cranking amps I had it load tested at the zone and bought a new one sorry guys but thanks for the help.
