HIDs

Hooked up this hid kit i got, basically plugged what fit together, together and hoped for the best. first thing i noticed was when low beams are on, on the dash the hi beam symbol is dimly illuminated and when i flip highs on, lights dont get brighter but the symbol does. now after getting in my car again only one headlight works? what could i have done so wrong?

Mine do the same thing, when hooked up the bright light illumination in the dash comes on, but you flip on the brights and only the passenger light stays on, right ? It's the ballast, only for single beam, not hi & low..

Right now only one light is on (passenger) on hi or low, is the driver side one blown already or?

Re: HIDs

Two things-
Did you purchase a "Bi-Zenon" kit?~Hi/Low Beam Kit~
Did you verify that when bulb extends outward for high beam, that it has the room to do so without hitting the lens or headlight somewhere.

Re: HIDs

OK, There should be some HID lighting sites that have illustrations as to how to plug everything together step by step or hopefully the seller will provide you the answer. I bet your not the first to question it.
-Did it come with a negative and a positive small wire to connect to battery post? Sounds like a short or no negative/ground connection.
