Maf sensor

Notice they advertise the k&n cai with a black Maf sensor. Do they have an aftermarket black Maf sensor for the 99-04 v6 mustang?

Re: Maf sensor

The MAF that comes stock with your car should already be black plastic. it's just hiding inside that housing after your stock filter.

Re: Maf sensor

They have a black MAF, but it is for a V8.
Didn't see any for the V6.

If yours is silver, just paint the outside, being careful to not paint any electronics or the inside of the MAF?

I would probably use a semi-gloss black in Dupli-Color or Krylon if it is available in your area.
The flat black is too easy to smudge up and the gloss black scratches and scuffs too easily.

Just clean it off good and tape over your connections, ID labels and ends with some masking tape.

I'm going to buy the k&n cai and paint the mass air flow sensor tomorrow.
