What do you think about black calipers? Most of my car is black and crimson so I'm trying to go for a dark look but I wasn't sure about the brake calipers. Feedback please!

This..
Plasti-Dip is for coating handles of tools, I highly doubt it will withstand the temps of brakes. There is likely a temp range on the can for safe use, if not I wouldn't do it as you could end up with bad results like blistered up finish or burnt finish and a burnt smell..
If you do do this be sure to post before and afters and update how it holds up.

Do no use plastidip on your calipers! Use a high temp caliper paint. Plastidip is great but there are some things you really just not use it on

Somebody mentioned on an earlier Plasti thread that they Plasti-Dipped their valve covers and it melted off. I'll bet the smell was pretty rank too.

Re: plasti dip brake calipers?

Do not plasti dip your brake calipers. It will not last and you will not like the mess it will make. I have not done this but can tell you from other peoples mistakes. Hi temp paint is the best for the long haul.
