Re: Egr tube

Why do you have to replace it anyway? i have dealt with new edge exhaust stuff alot and have never seen a failed tube maybe a valve but never once the tube.

Re: Egr tube

I went to get a exhaust system on it and the guy wouldn't do a exhaust without the tube being replaced because it was rotten

Re: Egr tube

Really.....wow that's crazy. You need a crows foot to remove it from the pass. ex. manifold and just remove the egr valve with the other end of the tube still attached to it then remove the valve from the tube (this is way easier) the junkyard is your best bet for the tube and if you dont have a crows foot you have too take off the ex. manifold to get it off so in short get some if you dont have any.

Re: Egr tube

Yea that's what the guy had said it needed . Because you only hear the leak when you press on the gas

Re: Egr tube

Now it's just trying to find the part . I'm going to be calling junkyards and seeing what I can find . I'd really like to dual exhaust on it
