and as for performance idk yey! im stuck between 3 choices.. waste my money on a 4.2 stroker kit..or buy a donor gt and swap it all into my sixxer..OR buy myself a sexy foxbody or a 94-95 5.0 :S cant decide !!!!
Just go 5.0 if your doing swap.. go old school fire wire carb no electronic easiest but that's not everyones opinion..

Nice looking stang...almost bought one just like that with the stripes, only it was bright atlantic blue.

Here's my suggestions if you want a mix of performance and cosmetics.
These are entry to mid level mods, installation wise.

Performance:
CAI - just grab a drop in or cheap CAI, the Bomz CAI off ebay or AM brand on American Muscle is fine.

Exhaust - soo many options...easiest/cheapest way: swap in a single chambered muffler and put a turndown tip on the outlet...nicer than stock sound and a deeper tone with the turndown tip.

Underdrive Pulley - nice bolt on good for a few hp's and tq..dyno proven.

Tuner - best mod if you have an auto. Places like American Muscle offer free tunes for life which you can't go wrong.

Cosmetic:

Shorty antenna - simple, cheap, great looking mod...get rid of that fishing pole

Wheels - a ton of options, a popular trend is the staggered look. Keep in mind you can't rotate tires if you do this.

Lowering Springs - eliminate that 4x4 look. Probably one of the best cosmetic mods you can do to your stang.

Chin spoiler/Grille Delete - really cleans up the front of the car...complete change for ~$200 (for both kits)

Window/light tint - a nice look to separate your stang from stock ones.

Misc. upgrades - scoops, fuel doors, mirrors, side skirts, the list goes on, that's the beautiful thing about our cars, the list is endless!

Wow! Thank you so much! That's awesome. More then I could ask for. Thanks a lot I will for sure do that stuff. That's a lot of great advise and information! Also I like that you gave me cheap options haha cause I don't have a lot of money to put into this car. I just want awesome mods for both cosmetic and performance. You gave great info.

No problem, any more questions just ask

Yah the CAI, shorty antenna, fuel door, chin spoiler and grille delete are probably the cheapest mods...all you can do with basic hand tools in your driveway

The lowering springs, tint, exhaust are probably best left to the professionals unless you are experienced in those areas. I did do the lowering springs myself...not bad at all, mustangs supensions are fairly simple.

Don't forget your interior as well...floor mats, shifters, billet upgrades, sound systems etc. tons of affordable options there too.

Re: improve?

It really should depend on how much money you want to spend, or what goal you have for your car.

If you want 260+ hp then spending money on a CAI may be wasted if you end up going turbo or supercharger in the future. Best thing come up with a goal, save toward it.
