Bparri1 is unknown around these parts
V6 auto no reverse
Has been happening off and on for a while now but now it's all the time. When I put the car into reverse it just revs and goes no where. There are not grinding noises or anything and all forward gears work fine. Does anyone know what this might be

I'd hazard a guess at linkage out of adjustment or a solenoid in the transmission has failed.
A transmission shop should be able to scan it and give you an idea of what's wrong.
