Anybody know about the zip tie on the gas pedal

I think he's talking about using zip ties to take up the slack in the accelerator. It's called the pedal mod. Lol

don't use zip ties...buy a 1" nylon spacer...cut it length wise.....now unhook the throttle cable under the hood from the throttle body....this gives you slack to work with under the dash. now slide the spacer over the cable above the pedal...now take two metal clamps and close it off with a good snug tighten...do it right and you'll never have to worry about it breaking while driving one day...

what this mod does...just takes up slack...you will not go any faster then with the slack there...all it does is put the pedal at the same height as the brake pedal...keeping you from catching your foot during back to back stopping and going.
