Re: computer reset

Unhook both cables and tap them together a couple times and that will reset the PCM.

Re: computer reset

why do you want to reset it? if it's due to emissions get ready for the kicker....they are able to tell if you reset your computer doing the battery trick.

Re: computer reset

It does reset everything and relearn to. as long as all the readiness monitors pass, it's all good. Your allowed to have a couple not ready and you will still pass emissions. I just recently passed emissions on my cobra with no cats and just MIL eliminators in place.

mil eliminators kill the code...so i don't see how you'd have any issue passing...however pulling the battery is a different thing...i've failed a few times because of having to pull the battery out for one reason or another a day or two before emission testing...now if he does a full drive cycle before testing (if that's even what this is about) then it won't read the battery has been removed

I'd clear the computer using a scanner. They aren't much. I did that to mine drove 100+ miles no issues.
