nos vs meth

Hey me and my friends were weighing the pros and cons of adding nos or meth to my sixer, what do you all feel and recommend?

Re: nos vs meth

They are completely different .... so you can't really compare.

You would want nitrous, 75-100shot, preferably a wet kit.

I don't think it has any pros, I guess it could motivate someone to clean their entire house with a toothbrush.

Re: nos vs meth

well nos is a great energy drink...much better then monster or red bull

meth...well it'll land you into some big legal issues along with being bad for your health

if you mean nitrous or methanol....what are you wanting out of the car...N/A your not gonna need a reason to run methanol...if you're looking into nitrous please go with a wet kit and do your homework.

What are the gains you could see with a N/A build?

Re: nos vs meth

well. I've never used either(yet) but my dad said his brother used methanol in his old camaro when they were younger once and it took nearly a whole 2 seconds off of his quarter mile time.

a methanol spray will allow you to run more timing or boost then you normally would. on speed tv they did a engine running race fuel and it was dynoing at around 700 and then they put in 93 octane with a methanol/water spray and the engine picked up 30 hp running the street gas and meth. but from what they were saying it works best on boosted engines. the main thing against it on the street is if your staying on it the methanol reservoir wont last long and since the car would be tuned to use it and you ran out and you hit it your car would preignite the gas easily and you would blow the engine

oh forgot to make it clear they did a lot of tuning for the meth to pick up that 30 hp
