Swap to 1997 gt

Is it possible to do a complete swap with a wrecked 97 Gt? I have a 2000 v6. The donor car was flipped and the roof is pushed in so the guy want to sell his car for 900$. Could this work? And would it greatly wake up this 2000 mustang? Ha anyone did this before?

I been looking at it for a while. It will take time. I have 3 friends to ride to work while I get it done anyway.

Remember that 1997 will feel slow they make I think like 215 HP and the gears are 2.73 so you need to change a bit since you have them out. Heads and gears

Swap is straight forward.
A little advice, drive and enjoy what you have. Home ownership is a better feeling then the mustang, I promise. I did the mustang first the first time around and ended up starting over, then buying a house then buying another mustang. Just saying. Good luck with it.

I know... That's why I plan on doing the motor work... Like heads, possible cam, intake manifolds, and some bolt ones. It'll be a v8 and faster than what I have now... It's a project I'm looking forward too

So I need to know all the parts I need from the mustang to do this swap. Bc I told my parents I will only have the car there for a month or two.

Basically your gonna drop the k member and front suspension out and bolt it up in your v6 .. then drop in engine all wire harness and computer and trans or possibly use your either way keep it for a spare.. drop off rear end slap it under your v6 aka new GT and drive shaft.. also make sure u keep the radiator off the GT .. v6 rads AR a row smaller than GT like width wise

If you plan on doing motor work I'd hold out for a PI motor.

He can just do the PI swap (heads, cams, intake) before putting the engine in the v6...then he'll be up to 99+ 2v specs.
