I've been debating tire sizes all day and I think I'm going to wrap the bullitts in some 275/40r17's.

Re: Look what I found at my door today!

What size are those bullitts? My fronts are 17x9's and I have 245/45/17 Sumitomos and they are fine...not much curb protection but they do fit nicely.

They look badass btw...gonna look really good on your car

They are 17x9. Best fit and recommended size is 275/40 so it gives me an excuse to buy new tires.

I'm so damn busy I don't see me getting the time to have em mounted for a couple weeks. I guess I could just set the wheels next to the tires and pretend.

Yah if you really wanted you could use the 245's but if you want new tires definitely get the 275's. They'll offer a bit more protection around the lip so on the off chance your rims get "affectionate" with a curb the sidewall might take most of the lovin and not the rim.

Yep I don't want the rim exposed, no sense in scraping new wheels. I'll keep the GT wheels with the 245's on them and sell those and wrap the bullitts in new rubber.
