Good cai

Have the 74 dollar cai on the way from America muscle anybody like it? Mainly going for looks and sound and 1-2 mpg bc I do alot of highway driving did I make a good purchase?

It won't hurt anything. They are not a bad deal although they really don't do much on our 3.8's. I'm ordering one, but just to spice up the engine bay a bit.

Cool but are they the kind u can hear sucking in air bc on my truck I had one and u could and it only had a 3.0 drawing air

My bbk should be coming in today n only reason I didn't prefer the 75 dollar one is because it doesn't have the carb sticker

i dont see it adding 2mpg, maybe 1 or less~ either way they all work basically the same.

Yea I agree. I didn't see much gains either. But I dressed up my bay and got the sound. Not a bad buy but don't have you hopes up for alot of gains

Yah you can deifnitely hear the CAI sucking in air...especially in the cooler temps.

You will probably notice a slight whistle when accelerating too.

In all reality the CAI's on our v6's are more for show/sound than performance. I'm sure there is some gain, but not enough to brag about...that's why the basic AM CAI or Bomz CAI on Ebay are good enough. Save the hundreds of dollars on the K&N's and BBK's and put it towards gears or a tuner

I got the k&n c.a.i on my 3.8 at the moment .. defiantly hear the air suction .. and a nice whistle every time I touch the gas..

Right on can't wait just now getting money straightened out so one of the first purchases along with gt hood scoop and mach one chin and floor mats lol
