Hello MEists.
The next mod I want to figure out is in getting rid of the honeycomb front grille. I am feeling the billet grill is the best but
1. Should I go with black or chrome?
2. Definitely want to keep the pony emblem so is that just a stick on, or is it the same bracket or need to buy another bracket?

3. Finally there are many choices (American muscle, eBay, carID, etc) is there a better one that is an easy install and cheap?

Thanks for any and all input

I was thinking about getting a new grille too after spending ton of time I changed and startin looking at a grille delete you still get the pony so I'd look into a grille delete i think I'm going to get that instead of the black or chrome but that's my opinion eBay has some good ones you can find tho!

I have always been scared about the Mach1 delete because will it hurt the car if lots of snow gets in the gap?

I didn't get any snow where I live this year but In my option I don't think that it would because mach1s have them and I haven't heard any problems about it

Well, it'll hit the radiator first anyways lol. That should just melt... I wouldn't worry about it. The machs came with them.

Wow never knew that everyone was in favor of the grille delete lol. But if anyone knows, how does the pony stay on with the billet? Just 3M tape or is there a bracket behind it?

There's pins that hold it in place

Alright looked at your car. I found you have some stuff already blackedout. So why don't you just get the blacked out billet upper and lower grille?

You should think about a theme you want. Your red with black so... Everything you do ties into that.

Plastidip just the horse and leave the chrome ring like my profile pic, it's cheap and nice lol, or whatever other logo you get, just gives it a nice custom look.
