I knw but I needed to get one with a carb sticker. I can get a gr rear end for like 350 bucks from this guy on Craig's. But would my springs n struts be compatible with the rear end?

Re: Just got intake

Im pretty sure you can do it with your stock suspension stuff but you have to take all that stuff off to do the swap so you might as well save a little more and change it all at once especially if your up there on miles

So you'd basically have to buy v6 struts and v8 shocks. Whenever you have to change that

No no no you can't do that! By mixing the red from the car and the blue on the intake your creating a depressurised zone of turbulance effectively decreasing your horsepower by as much as 32.6%. It looks good though, mine should be here before too long.

Haha... Lol I wrote that to show my gf and make her laugh. I didn't wanna post that on here. She played like she pressed sent and accidentally sent it lol. I never posted that on here before. The K&N is a real cai. Bc in that case yours isn't either. There's no such thing as a cai. Bc they all induct hot air from the engine bay, just that yours is metal so you'll get hotter than I will. Or basically they're the same. I'm not being Rude that's just how it is. I had that intake and that filter gets super dirty. Not saying mine won't but when I had that intake you have it sucked literally sucked that's just my opinion. The intake I have is way more stable, much more easy on cleaning the filter, and is worth the money I spent. If you like the one you have then great to each is own, but I recommend this one to you if later your not pleased...

I bet you enjoyed the increase in acceleration? I remember when I got my bbl cai. I noticed a great gain in acceleration power. I bet you can't stop looking under the hood?

Mine is a cai nevertheless. It's just more convenient for me. Easier to clean filter. And a bigger filter. My K&N filter is three times bigger than yours.

Alright this is no lie! My car sucked that old intake filter throu. Believe it or not. It got clogged with dirt bc I road it in the spillway, an it literally sucked it through a good few months later

Idk haven't seen a knn up close but my bbk is pretty big. When installing it I was stupid enough to try to fit it in threw the engine bay and not under the wheel here's what I mean lol.

Main idea with cai is the filter and the less restricted hose the little ridges in the stock one causes the air to do funky things and slows it down this is why a cai makes the difference it does

There is so little difference in performance with a cai on our cars that it really doesn't matter which cai you go with. In this case I'm glad you like your bbk, don't let these guys discredit your purchase. Its much smarter to save the extra money over a more expensive unit and put it towards something else.
