Help from the 6er community!!

Have a 70 mm throttle body that I bought as a 4.6l v8 TB from a guy. Well it doesn't fit. After a lot of research and even contacting BBK I am still at a loss to know what it goes to. BBK told me the they never produced a 70mm for a v6 but that what I ha looked like a prototype that made it into the community. I searched the Internet this morning again and lucked out (I think). I found a pic of a 99 v6 with what appears to be the same throttle body. If I could get as many of you as possible to just click a pic of your Tb for me and post it here so I can compare that would be great!

Thanks for dancing all the way around the request. Did you read the post at all? BBK, said themselves, that it appears to be a prototype that got released. I know they do not sell this for v6's (at least anymore). However the pic is included of a 99 V6 with the same throttle body I have. If you can not be helpful please do not post.

If they made it. Think about why don't they sell it. No one was buying it. So my point is look for other important things for your car man. The only way I can see you need that size is over 500 HP or if you put on a m112 on your car which you have neither so the question is doesn't it matter that you wasted on money on this junk

Why don't you stay off my post if you can't help in the question I asked? There are some people out there that want it. Obviously, I've already see one post on this side that has asked about one. But you are right about one thing. I don't have over 500 hp or a m112. But you don't know **** about me. Just started building my car and when complete will have 5-700hp. Depending on where I plan to stop. Stay off my post a$$.

You'll probably get more help in the v8 section. This is the six forum and quite honestly nobody here has use for a 70 mm TB. You don't really either, but you say 500-700 is what you looking for out of your GT. That's quite a bit. Are you planning on just using it at the strip? I drove a 600+ cuda the other day and it wasn't very streetable. It can be done as Nelson racing has shown, but your talking big bucks. I'm just curious why you want such massive amounts of power. Just curious and no offense meant.

Nah your good man...the pics I posted were of a v6. I bought this thing for my v8 and it's all wrong. I am trying to verify what it goes to do I can see if anyone who had what it goes to wants it. I found this pic of a v6 with what appears to be exactly what I have by searching google images for "bbk 70mm throttle body" and just scrolling through them. If it goes to a six and someone wants it I wanna sell it. As for my HP. I'm probally going to end up at the 400-500 range with the ability to kick it up with a bigger pulley if I decide to track it. Track would be limited to just seeing what it can do and maybe racing some people (on track) but as for just racing to be racing all the time no because it is a convertible. I have to completely stiffen the frame before I do much of anything though.
