Radiator fluid...

Alright I really need yalls help. I wanna save money and do my engine coolant myself.
So I need so good instructions on what to buy. The only good mechanic around here takes a long time to do things and I got work. I don't wanna bum a ride off someone else.
So I need to know, what to get from the store, and what coolant. Please help?

Pick up a cooling system flush kit and follow the directions to flush out the system.
Tell them what year car you have and ask for a compatible antifreeze, or just get the universal type if your parts people are stupid (mine are ). You will need enough for a 50/50 mix or a little less if it doesn't get real cold where you live. Follow the directions in your owners manual if you have it. If not, some are available to download from Ford. Pick up a cheap tester to see what it tests at and for periodic checks.

Haha, I've yet to have a good experience with anybody that works at an auto parts store.
