01 wheels

I have an 01 v6 and I'm wanting to put some new wheels on. What size would be the better size to get them? I dont want a staggered look just all around even.

I have 18s and in my opinion they fill up the wheel well really good, when I see a mustang with stock rims it just looks weird now haha,

Re: 01 wheels

18's are probably the best size for the 99-04 cars...depending on the tire selection 17" wheels can look too small.

If you can spare the extra cash get 18x9's all the way around with a 1" drop...that'll look good.

If 17's are more in your price range than 17x9 for sure...17x8 is too narrow imo and tucks inside the fender well too much in the rears.

A nice set of wheel spacers will pull the rears out a tad to prevent that tucked in look but won't make them look overly staggered. Just something to keep in mind.

Yea, wider tires make a world of difference, I say go big or go home, of you hop up a few sizes you'll notice a bigger change.
