Tlock is find. I have a couple on bolt on and my tlock is fine. Don't need a 8.8 unless your going over 300 HP or slicks

Definitely 8.8, already has the gears and the limited slip, in my opinion if u are looking for gears also, the 8.8 would also be the cheaper route and easier install, unless your doing the work yourself

Re: Tlock for 7.5 or craigslist a 8.8?

I had a f.r. tlok that broke with 210 rwhp and like 9 or 10000 miles on it and that cost me a little over 300 that locker. I then found an 03 8.8 w/ supposedly 12863 miles on it for 200 i may have been the only one who has broke a locker with 45 horses over stock too be safe get the 8.8 it easy to install compared to the tlok and there are a million of them om the internet and salvage yards so its gonna be cheaper both kick a** so whatever way you go is a good time i wanted to keep the 7.5 for weight purposes but it didnt work out good luck dude

I love mine and i would think I have about 180whp. In my area a 8.8 is 800 dollars so I went the cheap way
