Just got the cats removed

All four cats are gone and rear O2 sensors are turned off in my tune. She's loud as hell. Sounds great at idle and under 2k, anything over and she sounds absolutely horrible! Runs great though. I'm going to have to switch the mufflers and have the shop route the exhaust back out the rear again. Flowmaster 40's + dumps + no cats + v6 = doo doo.

It sounds like one of those high pitched crackling fart cans on a honda. I'm so ashamed! Its getting changed soon, and the sooner the better. I almost don't want to drive it.....

I've always wondered about doing a prochamber on the v6...I know it's a great scavenging/collector midpipe on the v8's...was never sure how much it would affect sound/performance on the six, if it would be worth the extra money spent...

Can you tell a difference in sound?

After driving it around she doesn't sound bad under load. I think its growing on me, sounds mean as hell at idle up to around 3k driving around. If i get on it pretty good and take her up around 4-5k she still makes me cringe a little.

My appointment at Excessive Motorsport is next Tuesday, the 20th. The long tubes, cats, ProChamber, and mufflers will be put on followed by new dyno tunes. At the same time, they are giving the entire engine a once over. And lastly, they are installing new carpet, floor mats, and a Corbeaue XRS seat for me.
When it's done, I will show pictures and attempt a few videos to hear it. Personally, I think it's going to function well combining the long tubes followed by SLP hi flow cats, the prochamber may mellow out the tone and add functionality exhausting more, and then The chambered FM 10 mufflers at the end, I think will turn out really well. The brand new tuner files are what I'm most excited about. Chris @ Excessive is "The Masta" & "Mad Scientist" behind his SCT computer equipment. I can't wait!!!
