White smoke

Does white exhaust smoke mean a coolant leak? Or is that blue...

I think white is head gasket. My dads dodge blew its gaskets at 103k and it released white smoke.

Re: White smoke

White is a coolant leak and could be because of a blown head gasket

Re: White smoke

Constant white smoke is always a strong indication that whatever liquid being used for engine coolant, is leaking into a combustion chamber. This can come from the heads, a blown head gasket, or even a cracked block.

Blue or grey is typically oil beyond/over the piston rings and could come even from leaking valve stem seals.

Black is over-fueling.
