Ey guys I live in California do I have to get the stand snagged every year and I was wondering if it might be a bad o2 sensor? At start up I can smell gas do I know it's running rich. I have already cleaned out the maf so it shouldn't be that. I was wondering if a bad o2 sensor would shoot codes saying the cat is bad?

So I should replace my o2 sensors?

I'm pretty sure it's running a little rich and I want to fix that too. I would think o2 sensors would fix that wouldn't it?

if you had a bad O2 sensor it would throw a check engine light. if you smell gas you might have an exhaust leak. The stock exhaust manifolds tend to crack on the V6. it could also be a broken cat. I think you should take it to a muffler shop and have them inspect your exhaust system. most muffler shop do this for free.

I have a cel on right now and it said right bank fail. I'm might try and replace the sensors and see what happens cause I'm not getting great gas mileage either. I would think the o2 sensor would fix if my car is running rich
