Newbie!

Hey guys. I've had my 1994 for less than a year. It's my first car that I bought on my own, and it has few problems (aside from a need for new paint!) it's a little ole 5 speed manual with a 3.8 in it (and a GT replacement bumper -.-) and the only modifications on it I know about are the tai lights and the exhaust. The exhaust (I was told) is a FloMaster level 4 package. It doesn't sound any louder than a V8 I don't think, but definitely sounds better than other v6s for sure!
Anyways, my point is that I'm new to Mustangs and cars in general. Are there any tips or tricks you guys have that would help me out, save me money, give me more horsepower, or keep me from looking dumb to other mustang drivers? Thank you in advance!

First order of business is to get some new wheels or at least put spacers on yours. They are off a newer mustang and the off set makes em sit pretty far into the wheels wells.

Actually since that picture was taken I have gotten spacers for the rear tires. Thank you! I wouldn't have noticed the difference had
My grandpa not said anything.

A flea market in Memphis, Indiana. It took some cleaning up. My grandpa thinks its from a 69' or around that year. How he knows, I do not.

I would love to have a complete chrome/ dark blue theme. I'm getting it painted this summer (the same color). I have chrome looking tailights and side lights. I'd like new crystal headlights, and replace my hood with a gt (from a 96) that we have laying around. As for internally... I really don't know what I should do, or what's worth putting money into. My grandpa has a 5.0 out of the 1994 pacecar for the Indianapolis 500 that he wants to put in mine, but other than that I'm clueless.

Thanks! But yeah, I just don't know how much the brackets and whatever else needed would cost. I'm in college, so my budgets pretty thin.

everything swaps perfectly and K-member is the same. You'll just need everything like wiring harnesses, computer, and it's recommended to swap the rear end.
You said earlier about swapping hoods.. 94-98 v6 and GTs are exactly the same. The only exterior differences are rear bumpers (says GT) and front bumpers (some came with fog lights). If you really want some OEM upgrades, look to the Cobra!

I have a '94 (original v6) with a 5.0l.
As far as engine swaps go, it's the easiest EFI v8 swap I've heard of. Especially if it's from a '94. If you get to the point when you're ready to get it started, start a thread in the 1979-1995 5.0l section

Oh, and welcome!

Oh, and welcome!
When it comes to the body, it's funny because the previous owner had a gt replacment bumper installed, so I'm set! But the only reason I want to swap hoods (which I already have) is the vent slots or whatever they're called. The red one we have laying around has those on it. So I would switch them out whenever I get it painted this summer. I'll be sure to relay that info to my grandpa, i have no knowledge with the worong and computer. And I'll also be sure to start a thread when it happens!

I have no idea. I'm content with the ones I have from an 05'. My grandpa (again, the supplier) has a set of Roushes on his that I can eventually put on mine, but as for now, I'm good.
