Radiator Fan problems

Hey guys whats up lately I have been having problems with my '97's radiator fan not turning on properly or at all now I have already blew one radiator because of this exact problem however I have fixed the thermostat, a new radiator, new hoses because those were the problem areas me and my dad looked into but also I was wondering if anyone has a clue as to run a direct hookup to the fan so that while I am driving and its getting above normal I could turn it on from inside the car I have on a few occasions turn on the defrost in the car to let out some of the excess heat but that is only to an extent and frankly not too sure if its working. If anyone know where else I should turn to on problem please let me know all comments appreciated and if i don't reply right away I am going to show my dad so me and him can be on the same page as to where to go next. Thanks

Have you checked your Fan relay? You should replace your temperature sensor too.

No I have not but this is because the fan actually did work once or twice I let the car idle for a bit to see if it turned on and it did then so me and my dad thought it was still working so we left it alone.
