No EGR

Am seriously considering ripping off all the emission crap that's on my 3.8, so my question is if any one has done this and how their motor reacted?

Re: No EGR

I got a new exhaust system installed yesterday. They deleted the EGR, made adjustments to SCT X Cal to eliminate CEL, ect..

Re: No EGR

No effect I know of. That's a tough question because I had an entire new & different exhaust system put in. I have nothing to compare it too. It's all great so far.

You need to call up that guy from supersixmotorsports.com and read on the site before you go ahead and do it. I think youll be getting worse mpg from what he said. Just read the article.

Your mpg will go down by maybe 1mpg but the main reason to do it get rid of alittle weight and for engine space

Can you give us a picture of the EGR delete in your car?

It's safe for the engine. Just something in there to lower emissions and help with mpg that's all.

Alright and just to let everyone know. YOU NEED A TUNE FOR THIS!!! if you have a tuner they recommend sending it back for the tune, or if you don't have a tuner they recommend you to get this tuned in
