Gauge mod

Just wanted to know if anyone else knew about the stock gauge mod?

Are you talking about switching the stock yellow bulbs to different color led's?

Or that sequence you can do that brings up real time rpms, oil level etc in the odometer screen...

Yah I remember reading about that a while ago...never tried it myself but it's a neat little trick.

I can read the gauges, I just don't see what it's telling you besides bulb and other words.

It shows things like your rpm's ,ga, wattage (useful if you have a sub system) all digitally! So let's say you've done the gauge mod, itl show your gas as a number like 184 itl go down as you use up gas . Shows rpm's, when you rev the number will increase. It's all just different and looks cool

Sadly yes. I doubt there will ever be a way to avoid doing it every time

Do u have to do it before you start the car every time?

Went to the local ford dealer and there completely stumped haha they've never seen anything like it. The manager even asked me to show him how to do it on his stang hahaha

Hahaha I got a buddy of mine that works for FORD that told me about this the day I bought her..LoL It worked great when I got the gears installed but before the tuner to re calibrate the speedo...lol

So if you have gears without getting a speedometer recalibration by the tuner, the digital mph will be correct but the gauge will just be off?

Hold trip reset button then click key to on positision while still holding in trip button, keep holding until gauges move and "gauge" will apear where milage was. You can let go ofbutton and start car. Push trip button once to scroll through options..
