Gas tank hose leak

The hose into my gas tank leaks so every time I pump gas I leave a small puddle on the ground. Any suggestions on the best way to fix it? Should i replace the whole hose or just seal the leak?

some have this issue with the fill line, you can go to a pull a parts junk yard and yank one

Re: Gas tank hose leak

Mine leaked too... Local Ford stealership quoted me $396.00 for a new fill tube !?!?! And they said it was $38.00 for the rubber gasket!???!

I found one on ebay from a stealership in Missouri for $138.00, and a new rubber gasket for $9.00.

In my little part of the middle of nowhere there are no mustangs in the junk yards...
