Wont start up on hot days.

Know this is mustang forums but I know you guys will help me out m dads truck will crank fine on cold days, but on warm days it acts like it doesn't wanna start. When he cranks it and let's it go it just bog and doesn't wanna start. It run fine when your going but it doesn't want to start up well. Only on hot days tho. Also if he kills it and comes back in an hour it will fire up fine. Any ideas guys? Would love some help thank you

Re: Wont start up on hot days.

seem to me its the starter. I had this type of issue with Saturn. on hot days or right after i had been driving around for a while the car would not start unless the engine temp was cold.

Starter is getting weak. Like Saturn said. Replace it and you should be fine.
