Screaming Demon?

Got about $300 to spend after having my Flowmaster put on this week. Is a screaming demon worth $80? And is it easy to install? I'd be doing it myself.

I already have the CAI from AM. I have 140,000 miles so I'm not wanting to do too much. Just added a little horse and make the ride smoother, louder, and add acceleration.

Re: Screaming Demon?

A jmod is some extra and bigger holes is the sep plate for the valve body the holes allow better flow through the valve body for faster and harder shifts one of the first things any mustang owner or really anyone with a 4r70w equipped car should do i think transgo makes a kit for like a 100 bucks or you can get a whole new valve body from performance automatic

I hear coil pack is a good buy tho and that you can tell the diff. It's only 80$ tho so I'd go with tuner while u have that chunk of change in ur pocket.

Re: Screaming Demon?

The Screamin Demon is a great ignition coil when it's time to replace the stock one. I replaced mine because of age and I started modding the engine. I had about 225K miles when I replaced mine. I got one of those and a set of Granatelli MPG wires and they have worked excellant together for the last almost 100K miles. Good ****!

I herd coils don't do much for a stock engine, so I'd make that one of my last mods,

Yeah I'm hanging onto my cash. My FlowMaster should be here tomorrow so I'll need money to have that installed. Thanks for the input though guys!

I found that MSD makes a coil for our cars. I'm ordering it over the screamin demon cuz well MSD is more reputable and the MSD coil pumps out 48,000 peak watts where the screamin demon only peaks 45,000. Every little bit helps, plus it was less expensive.

Re: Screaming Demon?

Yep, original motor. I keep my dyno sheets around too. "Knock On Wood" it keeps running like it is. It has impressive power and runs pristine. Naturally aspirated. No noises, shakes, pings, nothing. Runs perfect with tons of power. I am due again in April to see what my little singleport is doing with numbers HP/Torque. The numbers are always very high but besides that, it runs great and pulls like a son of a *****! I love it.
