Yeah that tune is close enough if you can afford it I'd totally try a tank full to see if it was worth it.

I'll see it's normal priced like the 93. Bc at this shell station 94 replaced 93. So it's 87,89,94

Re: 94 octane

I use 95 octane E30 with my 93 race tune... OMFG !! LOL OH the FUN! Car runs SO GOOD on that stuff... Unfortunately the fuel economy is in the toilet because
A) I have my foot deep into the accelerator and
B) Ethanol delivers really crappy fuel economy all by itself, no matter how gently you drive...

On a side note: Here, we used to have 87, 89, 91, 93, and 95 with the 91, 93, 95 being an ethanol blend... Recently I have seen 85 octane at the pump??!!!!???

85 octane is what they sell in Rapid City, Cheyenne, Billings, Denver, etc... HIGH ALTITUDE locations. WTF are they doing selling 85 octane gasoline in a low altitude environment??????????

New cars probably won't have a problem 85 octane since the computers can adjust for pre-ignition, however older cars that fills up with this stuff are going to rattle and clatter like they are burning diesel....
