Few weeks with my tuner, my current thoughts.

So after putting a couple thousand miles on the car after the tune I'm still very happy. I'm using the sct tuner with the 93 race tune with non ethonal fuel. About the same time I did the tune I also installed a cai, and had the cats removed. From stock to now there is quite a difference in how it sounds and her get up and go. With suspension work, brakes and tune she is much, much more fun to drive.

I still think the tuner is the very first thing that needs to be purchased for a mustang. Or for any vehicle. I also got an sct tuner for my 98 5.0 Eddie Bauer explorer. Holy hell it has made a night a day difference for it. I've rebuilt that truck from the ground up, and with the tuner its getting 19 around town and 26 on the highway. Not too shabby for an explorer that just broke 200k. She idles smooth as butter and pulls hard as hell!

You have tunes sent to you, the tuner intalls em and says its complete. Then you drive it, youll notice a difference. Best thing to do is take your tuner and get your car tuned on a dyno. I wanted to do that but I don't have a dyno around me.

I am right behind you time wise with my sct tuner from AM. Neat process. They don't ship it till you tell them the specs on your car.
It's been two full weeks. I had cai before as well. I got 87 street, 91 performance, amd 93 race tunes.
Shift points are better on all the tunes, but the race is the most fun. Car runs better and I agree that it sounds ballsier now for sure!
I have a single flowmaster 44 (soon dual with same). I can't imagine how great this will be with gears/t-lock!
And yes with free tunes for life, they will give you new altered tunes for your specific upgrades.

how does the free tunes for life work? do you send your tuner in and they ship it back? or do you hook it up to a computer and download tunes?

thats so awesome, that means that if i got the money to buy one I could buy it now and then get tunes for future upgrades.

That's odd, someone must have cut the other three out previously.

Yeah I guess. The muffler shop that told me this said he probably did it to get a little more hp/tq so it's fine with me
