It's time for the big decision.......

So i'm as far as i can go with bolt on's and suspension stuff full exhaust headers to tips no cats, self ported heads and lower intake (upper is a windstar). The only things missing from my drivetrain are an aluminum drive shaft and a stall (i dont plan on the stall). So here i am stroker kit or procharger finally after 3 1/2 years working towards it. what do you think the c.c is being swiped tonight so let me know what you guys think im so excited it feels like xmas, my bday, and the first time i put down a chick all in one no more struggling to keep up with near stock gt's having trouble passing 16 year old's in there gti's with there only mod being a b.o.v thinking there hot s*** i can't wait.

If you have the money, why don't you get forged internals then save for the procharger? More power in the long run. The stroker kit won't really give you any gains btw without FI.

Procharger will get you in the 300+ range if that's what you are looking for.

Then maybe both if you could swing it... You'd make BIG power for a sixxer. But remember you have to support that power. New clutch, rear end, good tires, suspension, etc.

I guess I'll be the dick that says save your money, sell your sixxer, and buy a GT. You'll make power much easier in a GT and obviously since you're getting into all these mods on your 6er you don't car about mpgs. Get a GT.

Also adding the Plasti-Dip Boost a Pump would be required for this application.

Don't forget to Plastidip your brake rotors as well so that you can still brake with all that newly added power

What he's saying is that he couldn't believe that was the only one that you thought was dumb even after the plastidipping brake pads and supercharger were thrown out there

Here's a new one .... Ive tested the idea of plasti-dipping my inter cooler which reduced heat soak on my Eaton blower.

Just replace the antifreeze with plastidip... That's way more efficient and keeps you engine and s/c at optimal temp regardless of how hot or cold it is outside and how hard you run it. Run it at redline all day and it'll be good

Re: It's time for the big decision.......

after all the blood, sweat, tears, screaming and swearing over the last few years i will never sell my six because i HAVE to be one of the few dudes that are putting 400+ to the wheels i already have an 8.8 with 4.10's that i know have to go if i get the procharger my 4r70w has a p.a valve body and a cooler so i think i should be ok in the trans department only thing i would really need is a m.a.f, injectors and pump i already have an s.c.t so a quick bama tune should get me safely to the dyno i want the stroker but i don't know alot about it and can't do it myself but i know it's needed if i want to do it right

No no no man. You know you must do a 50/50 mixture with antifreeze & plasti-dip. You trying to give bad advice or what ....

Don't forget to add a bottle of plasti dip to your gas tank at each oil service to get the full benefit!

Hell I mix a little plasti dip in my Monster so I throw those shifts quicker and experience the warp speed like off of Fast and Furious. Plus after the race, the plasti dip boosts my swag so all the little ladies hang on me like plasti dip to piston skirts.

If that's the case then invest in plasti-dip Trojans ... Never can be to safe
