NEED HELP.. FUSES

Today I was feeling adventurous... I bought some cheap LEDs from Walmart, mounted them under the radio and tried to wire them into the fuse box with one of those damn "add-a-circuit" things.

I tried to put them into the fuse that according to the owners manual... was for my low beams. But when the fuse was out, the low beams still worked.

While I was in there, I decided to check all my fuses, because my cruise control and 12v/cigar lighters don't work. All the fuses appear to be fine, but I think a bunch of em have the wrong amperage ratings.

When I took the car out tonight, my air bag light blinked a few times and then stayed on.

I know that obviously the amperage ratings should be correct, but I'm getting to thinking I misread something, because of the headlights working with the fuse out. Someone please help!

Are you reading it upside down? Sounds silly, but I've done that before, lol

Re: NEED HELP.. FUSES

I don't think so. I've checked about 20 times to make sure the layout of the fuses match the diagram on the cover. My dad says he thinks I have the wrong owners manual. But I got it from the Ford website.

Seems like that would be fairly simple to figure out. I'd start there.
