New Seats

Hey everyone, my seats in my car are old and uncomfortable. Im looking to upgrade to new seats and i really like the racing bucket seats. But i dont want to spend $2,000 on new seats. I was looking around and i found good seats on Andysauto.com and has anyone used them before? What kind of seats do you all recommend?? Thanks in advance!

Re: New Seats

TMI just released 03/04 cobra interior seat skins (need foam and just need any 99-04 seats to install on) the ENTIRE kit TOP OF THE LINE is 1400 but they make FAR cheaper options that you can look into for far far cheaper so you could go as cheap optioned as possible and come out spending just 449.55 plus foam (not sure on foam but probably 200 ish (foam only needed for fronts). It gets EVEN cheaper if you only do fronts FYI (349.55).

That is cheap. Trust me, the last thing you want to do its cheap out on seats. those cheap seats you see on ebay are garbage with bad foam, bad brackets, and they break easily. The corbeau seats are awesome. Great bolstering, great construction, and they were so comfortable!. You don't need the belt bar or harness... Just use your regular belt...

I have heard it also works on 94-98 but no one has found out for sure yet, it would be the frame that would be different etc~

What is your budget? The cheapest seats i saw is in jegs.com, they have the racing seats for 99-04 both seats with the brackets is only like 450-480 bucks + 9 dollars for shipping. I was about to order those but i saw a perfect like new condition seats on craigslist for 250 bucks a 04 leather seats. So if you are looking try craigslist first maybe your lucky to find something new for cheap.

You could get the seats and brackets and throw them in and use the stock seatbelt and then wait a little while and get harnesses and belts

Hmm ok you all bring up good points, i found $249 megan racing seats but there most likely crappy foam as you were all saying. Ill check out my local craigslist for some deals. I just hate my drivers seat now the foam is all messed up and i always have to sit like with my body facing the cold air intake cuz its curved, i feel like an idiot sitting like that
