I was thinking of trying BP because I read that ford reccomends it. Just haven't had the chance yet. Mobile seems to work well too.

Re: Best gas

Yah my 07 F150 says the same thing, but I've used Shell, Citgo and Kwik Trip gas...truck hasn't blown up yet

Generic gas vs brand name gas is a controversial topic..many say that gas is gas and it all comes from the same refinery and that the only real difference between a generic and name brand is the additives that are put in etc. etc.

I tend to buy from the name brand stations, they are more common here than mom n pop generic pumps, and they usually are battling so one's always cheaper than the other. My only peeve about generic shops is that they tend to take longer to cycle thru the gas so the gas in their underground tank is sitting longer..maybe it doesn't matter these days, I don't f*ckin know anymore

Yeah my grandpa hauls fuel to different stations and he says "my hell! They all come outta the same refinery!" lol but my buddy who is full certified GM mechanic says chevron is the best gas, so I just get mid grade chevron

I've been using regular grade gas from Irving/ Circle K. It works all right, but I've been wondering if somewhere else would be better . A lot of people tell me Mobil is the best stuff out there. I just don't know of it justifies the 20 cent price difference per gallon .
