Not my style but if you like it, go for it. I think its too much unless you get the front bumper and hood to balance it out. I prefer the rears of new edges wingless.

Re: Cobra R Tail fin

Well you're not going to get much love for that wing from about 99% of mustang owners...the other 1% either has the wing or wants one lol.

I personally think it belongs on the 00 Cobra R and that's it...if you want an aftermarket wing that's taller or more flashy than the stock spoilers, look into a saleen 3 piece or the steeda functional race wing..I've seen that wing on a GT in person and it looks pretty good...but it needs a big hood and big front bumper to look balanced on the car. The GT had the 03 cobra bumper and hood.

Okay yeah I get that most everyone says don't get it so I might save more and get the whole body kit

dude if u like the 00 cobra body kit then just go for it. dont buy a body kit that u dont like as much or u might regret it. im not a fan of body kits exect the 01 or 03 cobra bumper and spoiler from the 03 termi. but its ur stang, be unique

Oh for sure, I think I have 3 different video games that have that car in it lol.

As said it's your car so you do what you like, you're making the payments.

You ask what we think of it and 99% of us will say don't get it, look into a different setup. But in the end it's up to you...

The whole idea of the modding hobby is to make the car a extension of what you want. It's our art form instead of paintings on paper ours is paint parts and combinations of such on metal and fiberglass. Rolling extensions of who we are...

So you do you and forget about what everyone else thinks...

+1000 I have the cobra r spoiler on my 99 and I love the way it looks. No offense to anyone else, but I don't give a **** what you think about it. I'm building my car the way I want it, and so should everyone else

Re: Cobra R Tail fin

I like it ONLY on a 2000 Cobra R, otherwise yup it looks very tacky, sits way to high, causes trunk damage from the weight, and overall just looks bad

My cobra r spoiler has been in there since 2002. I don't have any trunk damage. I will say that the color can make a big difference in the appearance of that spoiler. I've seen a few that just didn't set right with me, mine is that k7 blue color and I think it looks absolutely fabulous. To each their own though I suppose

They look great right up until you clip a speedbump or curb... Great for the track but not real functional on a street car... My 99 Saleen has the same problem... OTOH, if you live in the right climate, they could make a really good snowplow...

As for the rear wing, our club prez had one on his car... when we went to a car show and won a large trophy that wouldn't fit inside the car, we always teased him we would just bungy cord it to his wing...

It would look 100x better with wheel spacers or just a wider wheel for the rear. Fender gap is BAD.

a Cobra R front with a lowered car is asking for trouble, it will happen.
