1996 intake swap?

So ive heard you can put the intake from a windstar and put it on the v6, is this true and if so what year windstar and how big of job will this be?

It's a top end swap. Heads and intake from a split port engine.

Idk the exact year but it's a 40 hp increase swapping to the split port design

Windstar intake is good for split port (99-04) engines. In order for the intake to work, you'd have to do the split port swap.

It is possible, but not without more modification. Do a search on "split port swap". That would have to be done before you can use the windstar.
