95 handheld tuner

Ok so I've seen all sorts of different things about using a handheld on my year v6 and just wanna clear up and make sure I can use it before I buy it. From AM of course. But it's got the obd2 port under the dash on the drivers side. So I can use a handheld. Correct?

You would think you could. It does have odb2, but sct doesn't seem to make a handheld for the 94-95. I would call sct and BA a to be sure before you bought it.

Re: 95 handheld tuner

ODB2 is for 96+ (or for some reason newer hand helds wont work not sure which), I do not believe they will work on 94/95 cars. They can be MUCH more difficult to tune so I have heard.

A guy I know has a 95 GT with a blower and he is always talking about how horrible it is to get it tuned etc vs new cars.

That's what I thought. Hopefully there are but if not I'll just buy the chip. It's a little cheaper anyhow. But the handheld would be more practical with you being able to clear cel's

Also adjust tunes on the fly and get them quicker when you add another mod
