Can anyone tell me if it's possible to install a 1990's Ford Eaton M90 Supercharger pulled from a 90's T-Bird Supercoupe 3.8 V6 motor onto a 2004 3.8 V6 Mustang. If so...Can you tell me what all is involved in doing this...like parts I'll need or adapters or anything like that?
Also...what will I need to do to my Drive Train & Suspension to handle the extra power? Any help would be great! Thanks
Well it just isn't easy getting any power out of a 6 Banger now is it. I think it's time to trade it in on a GT. Just got so much into it already I hate to quit. Was told by a guy who has 7 Bad Azz Mustangs that if I put the Supercharger on I'd be able to take a stock GT with no problem. Hmmm....What to do???
Not the m90. You'd have to swap to singleports, not worth it really on a splitport motor. M112 with the adapter would be much better, but still not as good as just stepping up to a GT for many reasons.
buy forged internals and get the m112. I was thinking about getting the m112 for my '95 but i'm not to sure I want to do all the work to convert to splitport unless I find a good deal on a parts car that has everything i need.
Thanks for all the help. Guess I'll wait on doing this til I explore all my options. M90 isn't sounding as good now.
