Farthest tank.

K guys, I just went 335 miles on one tank. Stock other than aluminum flywheel and flowmaster muffler!

With the car fully loaded with luggage and a/c full blast!

---------- Post added at 08:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:13 PM ----------

That's 27 miles to the gallon!!

My stang is pretty much a highway queen. If I behave myself and don't go over 75 I can consistantly get 30 mpg. Actually its always been 29 point something. That's running with cruise set at 75. I know I could get over 30 if I ran it at 60, but I just can't go THAT slow!

And that just with a few light mods!

---------- Post added at 08:17 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:13 AM ----------

Oh here's her mods list as far as fuel is concernerd:
Catless H pipe
Dual flow 40's
CAI
93 race tune from punch it performance
Non ethonal gas
17x9 wheels
And I stay right on top of ALL regular maintainence.

Atta boy! See I think that's just amazing. These sports cars can smoke Japanese imports yet cruise between 25-30mpg's on the highway! Yeah and with me, I really have like two mods. I have the flywheel and the muffler. Im always up on maintenance, just replaced the plugs and wires so that probably helped too.

Re: Farthest tank.

Very nice...routine maintenance is key and I'm sure that non ethanol fuel helps some.

Re: Farthest tank.

Ya I was referring to Project Pony. We only have 1 pump in the area that has non ethanol..it's hidden with the diesel pumps so not many people know about it

IMO I would rather have a car that looks fast and tough than cute.

Working on my first tank with the new tunes. Shooting for over 300 miles. And I don't exactly drive in gas-saver mode lol
