Pypes m-80

Hey everyone! I need some good info. All opinions would be appreciated and thanks in advance. Money will be an issue too. Lol.

First I have a v6 2001 true blue convertible. 3.8 single exhaust. All stock except flowmaster super 44 that was installed last year for a deeper sound. I installed a cai from American muscle. It Sounds better. Now I just got 2 pypes m-80's from jegs. I was thinking of making it separate duals. Cutting off the flows and cutting out the y pipe. Placing my m80's. I've checked on YouTube with nobody with this set up. Do you guys think it will sound ok? I want it to sound more growl. I have all my cats. Not sure if it's 2 or 4 cats that it has. I don't mind removing 2. If there's 4. Feedback plz. Thnx!

Re: Pypes m-80

IIRC the Pypes M-80's are those little resonators...so they'll be LOUD lol

I think I'd leave all the cats, (you have 4), just to keep the sound from being rediculously loud and annoying. So have the flow 44 removed, and have the shop cut off the y-pipe and weld piping to the cats, and down to the M-80's, and out into tips, or dumps if you want to dump the exhaust under the car.

Sonicpony03 thanks a whole lot. I know now this is what I want. When you said it's loud. Keeping my cats is not a problem.
