Bought a tuner but my PCM doesn't have a code on it, the only code I saw is a longer code on the yellow thing in the picture. The other pic is my PCM input I guess? So annoying! Where can I find it? Also there is no stickers on my door.

AM, I looked for where they told me to look for the pcm code, not there. I'm so irritated by this, very frustrating -.- I bought the handheld tuner. I can't get the thing shipped until I tell them the computer code so they can load the tunes onto the tuner.

They have a thing that tells you what to look for and where to find it. Mine sticker was faded but you can look for the code on the passager side kick panal

Passenger side floor board, remove the plastic paneling that says mustang on your door seal (on the bottom of the floor. And then remove the plastic paneling on the right side underneath the dash (the same side as the door) hope thats isnt too confusing lol)

So we aren't all suppose to have same code? Hope not lol

---------- Post added at 05:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:45 PM ----------

Got another question now, I see 92 octane all around here, not 91 or 93. None of the tunes are for 92 tho so what do I do? and Idk my exhaust, all I know is I put turn downs on them and the muffler guy said it had 1 cat lol. Also what is launch rev limiter?

Sorry for the late reply, got bored so i.lifted the car and took my muffler off for ****s and giggles. Id say just run the 91 tune, and use 92 gas. With a 93 tune i doubt it would, but it might knock a bit, however i believe that 92/93 are close enough where you could get by with it. Id call AM tomorrow to make sure though.

Re: Its always the simplest crap!!

I think you should do 91, unless they somehow have a 92 version. I thought it was either 91 or 93. We have 93 around here and love the 93 race tune! I doubt it is a crazy difference between 91 race and 93 race.

It sucks, kinda disappointing because I want it to perform to full potential.

You could alway do the 93 and just add an octane booster? Just and option. Does anyone know if they do a 100+ tune?
