| whats the lumpiest cam out there for are engines?
would it be better if i just custom ordered one in the future? I want it to have a VERY lopey idle.(if thats how your suppose to describe it) I don't know why but I've always preferred the sound they have compared to a smoother sounding engine.

Cams themselves arent much, maybe 300 dollars. But longer valve springs are a must which is another couple hundred. Also if its a very loping cam you might need longer push rods also, which is another couple hundred. Theres also a tune, if you dont have a tuner, and then labor. It all adds up into 4 digits very quickly.

duals with no mufflers. Or maybe it doesn't sound as good with duals? I think my single muffler delete sounds pretty good.(the cats will be gone once i get the longtubes and H pipe)

Let me save you the embarressment of running straight pipes..... don't do it!!!! I had straight pipes, but only while i was waiting for my appointment to get my mufflers welded on. At idle, it sound awesome and pretty damn mean, but if you give any power to it, it sounds HORRIBLE!!!. And I have probably the most radical cam on the site. I went with a 224/230 cam.

Pics of the intake. Since then I had to put on 24# injectors because i kept running too lean.

It's just less rotational mass, so you lose less horsepower from the engine to the rear-end, and slightly better acceleration. ---------- Post added at 08:24 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:22 AM ---------- Quote:

nothing current. Oldest numbers I have are on my sig, but that was before the nitrous and the new intake and 70mm TB. But w/o the nitrous i would guesstimate about 240-250 rwhp so that would be about 275 ~ 295bhp. Then I use a 75 shot so that is about another 68 or so to the rear. So an estimate total would be about 310-320 rwhp. Again these are all educated guesses.

That probably the most aggressive cam available for our cars.
