Road Trip

So I have to drive an hour with my mom to Tulsa tomorrow for my ortho appointment. My Stang has 141k miles and my parents van(same engine size) has 110k. They won't take the van because it needs new rear tires, when the tire shop guys told me two weeks ago my rear brakes had 10% left. Is it "selfish" that I'm pissed about it?

Your appointment, means your trip, means your car!.. I've got several "road trips" coming up over this next week!.. Two of them are over 2hrs away one way!..

But I'm not getting to go to my college of choice so I can stay at home and save room and board. Least they could do is drive. I freaking hate putting miles on my Stang. Especially 20+ in one day.

I understand. My stang has like 105 but im on a road trip right now. The minimum is like 1400 miles so I feel ya. Unfortunately that is part of growing up, responsibility yadda yadda. If you think about it, your stang would be the "safest" bet. You can survive with bad rear brakes(mine were toasted, pads completely gone), but you might not survive a bad rear tire.

I DO understand how it's annoying tho.

20+ a day? I wish I only went that my school is about 10 miles away from my house. Then I deliver pizza in my car all night, almost 2 tanks a week, I only get 200 miles to a tank too, 15mpgs -__-

I only get 17 mpg. And I got a job that's close so it'd be easy on my car. My last Stang was 40+ Monday-Friday for school and work then baseball and whatever else on the weekends. That sucked. Felt like I was filling up every day
