Used windstar intake ? ?

He windstar intake kit is $385. Any reason I can't just go to a scrapyard and grab one for $20-$50???? I know you have to relocate the idle air and the intake hose, but at a $300+ savings I'm sure I can figure something out, right? What piece of this puzzle am I missing.

Ohh noooo, there is ALOT!!! of fab work to do, brackets, throttle body, egr, throttle cables, way too much, go read the install directions and you'll see exactly how much work he puts into this kit,

It's a bolt on but to make it work easier and fit under stock hood that why the kit is better

After all is said and done you will have to have a tune if you delete the EGR valve or you'll have a CEL on all the time
