Foul stench

My car smells like someone took a poop in it. What can I do to get rid of the smell?

Lol. Had that happen to me. Look for some brown looking stuff where you put your feet. By the gas or the brakes. Lol!

Sometimes bacteria can grow in the air system around where the a/c goes thru it; from the condensation from the air. I'm not sure if that's your problem but it made my truck smell when I turned on any air. Just hose down the outside and inside pick up vents with Lysol with the blower motor on high. Do it on both while switching between the floor, face and defrost

Re: Foul stench

Thoroughly clean out the car's interior and trunk to make sure nothing is in there decaying and causing the smell. If you find nothing and the smell is still present try to find someplace you can rent a small ozone generator. A treatment or two will usually suffice to get rid of odors that are ingrained into the seats and other fabrics.

Also sometimes clogged up catalytic converters can give off an unpleasant smell, so you may want to check those out too.

Check your windows for leaks, could have water seeping in and making it smell kinda moldy

Yes, and I was a plumber for several years in my younger days.
Sometimes the difference is not discernible.
