I called a shop and they couldnt give me a estimate and said to sell it, but this is my first car and i have already put work into it i got it for $1000 2 years ago been good back in aug got a new transmission, march replaced all 4 catalytic converters, fixed a oil leak, replaced oxygen sensors alot of stuff but worth it , love my car and i wanna keep it so it would be big help if anyone has done this to their v6 and how much it costs and all that thanks

Well a performance build from the block up will run you 6k if you do most the work.
Your car retail value is worth 3k
Trade in is 1k
Private party is 2k
With a new engine it is
Retail: 5k
Private: 4k
Trade: 3k
With those numbers even with a rebuilt engine your gonna spend more on what the car is worth.
I say sell it and buy a used 1999-2007 v6 or GT
Ranging anywhere from 3k-10k
A solid rebuilt with out performance will run u about 4k
