If that's the case save your money and buy a gt hood or aftermarket

You guys are nuts..try to stay on topic though, remember this is a tech thread

To the OP, try ebay, craigslist or local salvage yards for scoops and hoods. Also mustang salvage yards such as Prestige Mustang and MPS Auto Salvage usually have them in stock in numerous colors, so you might not have to worry about painting.

Keep in mind if you have an 03-04 v6 with the reverse hood then the 01-04 GT hood scoop alone won't work...you will need the 99-02/99-04 GT hood with the forward facing indented scoop and then add the scoop or the whole 01-04 GT hood already with the scoop.

keep an eye out on craigslist too. ive seen people selling theyre gt hoods along with the scoop for under 300

+1 and white's a fairly popular color, so you might be able to find one.

I looked for almost 2 years and never found one in sonic blue and in decent condition for under 450
