660hp

So I was buzzing around online looking up some motor specs from rally cars, krn block the driver of the ford focus is pushing 660hp out of a 2.0L engine, I asked a few people from a local mustang club if I could get the same power out of a 3.8L and after they stopped laughing they told me no, there is no way to get that kinda power of a 3.8L, so answer me this, do these guys even know what they are talking about and is there a.way to get that much power out if it ? Ive got a spare motor that I wanna use for a performance build just to see what kinda numbers I can get and see if it will be reliable for a daily driver ( more then likely noy going to be a dail driver gas is to high)

I think you are talking about ken blocks 660 hp fiesta. Not happening to you mustang, unless you have about 200k to drop in the motor. His car is t really even a fiesta anymore. It just has the body of one

Ya I know but im just wondering how you get 660hp out if a 2.0L engine but not a 3.8L, and I realize its a race car and the only ford left in it is the body

I seriously doubt that. Emissions, would never pass on it. His fiesta rally car is a full out race car. Just because its been on the road does not make it road legal.

Built motor and single turbo it's doable. 4.2 stroker, ported heads, custom intake, spec cam. Don't know how reliable but it can be done

Its a quote from forest Gump, when the drill Sargent is yelling at forest. "Gump! Why did you put that gun together so fast?!?"
"Sir, because you told me to, sir!"
"JESUS H. CHRIST! that's the best goddamn answer I have ever heard! You must be some kind of genus Gump!"
Best part of the whole movie! Lol
