Stock header

I'm new to mustangs and I've read that some mustangs come with stock headers. I have an exhaust leak and wanna fix it but if I can get headers if like to.
Is this true about stock headers? I have a 2001 stang and if they do come with them will they fit my year?
Thanks!

You can pick up a set for cheap is the best part eBay or a salvage yard they bolt to the block just fine but the studs you tighten to the exhausted are little bigger ull have to get new nuts from auto parts store or lowes

Right on thanks!
Hopefully I'll be able to collect some money to get them
Is the passenger side really hard to get to? I noticed there's a lot more stuff in the way compared to the drivers side

Yup I actually was going to do the same but decided to just drop a 5.0 in mine when this six blows so didn't finish it got a turbo off a 2.3 turbo coupe bought a inter cooler system off a dodge SRT neon and a piping kit off line basically all I needed was oil feed and return lines and I'd have a turbo stang

Yup different is the way to be and yeah i remember the 86 .. My paint is what gonna set my ride out there and I'm not switching to a 5.0 till my six is on its last leg she still got plenty of heart left .. My clutch is a different story I'm wanting to stick a stage 3 clutch pad and throw out bearing in it who ever had it before me got the clutch cable maxed where just press it not even down an 1" and it engages
